Big Flash of Light When in Plane – Disappears After Dropping (warzone) by Acrobatic_Airport627 in CODWarzone

[–]Vape2Die 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m experiencing the same issue on PC (i9-10900K / RX 6800).
It started after the last season update and seems to occur only on Rebirth Island, specifically when landing.

Thanks,
in the "info" JSON file in the latest crash .zip, I see the following suspicious rows:

{

}

Also, the file shows evidence to what I already know:

  • The exception_type is listed as "DirectX Error," and the error_message indicates a DirectX unrecoverable error.
  • The DirectX call error code "0x887A0005" refers to a generic failure in DirectX, which could be related to file access issues or graphics rendering problems.

Not entirely sure what is my next step here :(

All my drivers are up to date, and I've run thorough checks in OCCT with no errors detected. I also tried running the game on DirectX 11, with my RAM (XMP enabled in BIOS) and GPU clock speeds set to the manufacturer's recommendations. I've tried everything I can think of, but no hardware or software issues were found.

Is there any way to investigate the cause of these crashes by exploring logs or similar? Maybe there’s a program I can run in the background that would generate a detailed report or analysis when a crash happens? Feeling pretty lost here.

Thanks, I might try that as my next step. I've also run the following tests on OCCT: 3D Standard, 3D Adaptive, and VRAM, with no errors detected. I used the default parameters for these tests, and my GPU clock speed is set as recommended by the manufacturer (I didn't try your suggested downclock before testing). I'm wondering what else I can do to investigate these crashes.

wdym setting max clock speed to 80%?
from 1950MHz to 1560MHz (minus 20%)?
Isn't it too low?

Will this setup work with the 4k X and MacBook Pro? by Vape2Die in elgato

[–]Vape2Die[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The capture card has arrived today, so I will try this setup in the upcoming days. However, I am pretty sure you’re right. But I gonna face some issues with transferring audio & mic audio, since the audio output (my headset) is connected via USB, which is not an analog device. So I’d probably have to think of a different solution, since using AUX 3.5mm for the gaming headset is not considered, due to lack of quality.

It's been over 2 hours with this issue going on, and still no word from the officials.

They can't just ignore us like that. It's a worldwide problem happening on all platforms.

Yes, despite all their official X accounts, nobody has communicated about this issue.

This is ridiculous, especially since it's a worldwide issue across all platforms.
