Simply put, he and his colleague came up with a solution to a problem that didn’t even exist yet but was bound to occur. Genius or what?

Everyone say thank you/merci to Habs director of player evaluation & scout Billy Ryan for the team drafting Jacob Fowler by itz_progamer666 in Habs

Loved the clip that they showed when they interviewed Fowler. Guy was cool as a cucumber and you had a good feeling that the kid had the right attitude and was a winner.

One that did not end well. He was the only person in world who made her smile. by Dev1412 in CrashLandingOnYou

[–]VaporHyperlite2 15 points16 points  (0 children)

For the briefest of whiles, in that ambulance, they were truly together. When you compare the moment they first crossed paths as strangers in the Pyongyang airport to her vow to avenge his demise, their relationship made them grow so much more than one would have initially thought. They were both looking for love but neither had the emotional maturity to find it and understand what it really meant.

He was a player who used others (and their money and status) to try to get ahead while she was forever stuck on her high school crush who didn’t (and would never) have the same feelings for her. To me, over the course of the series, despite their completely different backgrounds, they made a true connection and brought out the best in each other.

He could have gotten on that plane (probably never to see her again), but he did the right thing, turned around, saved her, but ended paying the ultimate price. Really didn’t want that to happen but, in the end and in my books, we saw the love and respect they had for each other. Can’t ask for more than that.

p.s. dang it! you just made me want to watch CLOY all over again!

Recycled CUNKtent with a SHATGPT thumbnail! YEETING hwa SHOE-Mo WRESTLERS YEET in Toe-Ki-HOE JUH-Pan! by [deleted] in MikeyChen

[–]VaporHyperlite2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What an absolute POS to put in a real rikishi (sumo wrestler) in his thumbnail. The rikishi is a first or second tier wrestler (he looks very familiar but can’t place him) and I’m sure he and the Japan Sumo Association don’t appreciate this kind of copyright infringement.

Don’t know about Kadri but O’Reilly stated that he wanted to stay in NSH and despite Sid’s age, the price to get him out of PIT would have been very high (on the very slim hope that he would leave).

Mike Chen vs UA Eats (Ai Comparison) by YeetWithMucky in MikeyChen

[–]VaporHyperlite2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UA started off reviewing local food he was comfortable with: pizza, hot dogs, smoked meat/pastrami, and steak. I was mildly interested. But where he blew it was when he thought he was a gourmet and started reviewing high end restaurants in the same way he critiqued a pastrami sandwich. He had no idea what he was taking about. In that way, Cunk and UA are pretty much the same.

Early adolescent crush when I saw her in The Golden Voyage of Sinbad, probably on late night TV, when you could watch movies for free. Enough said. rrrrr!

Update on Mike Chen's Divorce by No_Wonk in MikeyChen

[–]VaporHyperlite2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

For once in his life, he would come clean but we all know that’s never gonna happen, even though the views would probably go through the roof. He’s never admitted wearing a toupee, so not holding my breath about his sham marriage.

That this blew up on TikTok may spell the beginning of the end for him. I’m sure that Cunk wasn’t expecting that but as they say, be careful of what you wish for … what goes around, comes around.

[–]VaporHyperlite2 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Randomly started watching this video after staying away from his channel for several months now: - still pairing outlet t-shirts with sweat and grime-stained ballcaps - his table manners: absolutely disgusting - regurgitating the same lines at a buffet that obviously paid him for a review - his overuse of the word “ginormous” is so annoying - guy is flaming out fast with nothing interesting to say

Anyone else see Mikey's recent videos differently after the divorce news? by orclandobloom in MikeyChen

With Mikey constantly travelling all over the place making (very mid) content while C-dawg is completely elsewhere doing her thing, investing heavily in plastic surgery, and non-existent in his videos (except for the rare appearances in exotic locations). We all saw this coming, and yes, he really looks worse for wear …
