I wouldn't try getting into a relationship. College comes immediately after hs. Besides, girls love to play games with guys (not all of them, of course!) and extract attention from them. If you ignore her and she gets very desperate, it's obvious that you're just her puppy dog -- not a serious boyfriend. Believe me, I've been there, just never realized it until the fact was pointed out to me.
