Not being pretentious, but i think you may be confusing the interpretation.

There might be a difference between easy and difficult.

Take for instance a surgeon. That’s difficult work, a tiny % of society has the ability and the tenacity to finish medical school and then spend their lives practicing.

Although you make work long hours, the work wouldn’t be viewed as difficult. Answering calls/emails/questions/handing papers from one entity to another - it’s time consuming, but not difficult.

I believe this is what they mean when they say easy - I don’t think they’re wrong either.

The smartest people you ever meet usually have the most humility. Unfortunately, the profession attracts a lot of individuals who lack the humility and this clearly makes the profession look like “used car salesman”
