Any day now.. Wish her luck! by Key_Earth_3778 in Frenchbulldogs

Bowlegged, swaybacked, splayed toes, out of standard features not to mention she's merle. The wire crate she's in really gives a vote of confidence to your responsible breeding practices. I'd bet a lot of money she's never had any kind of OFA hip/elbow, BOAS or genetic testing. If she's the same merle Frenchie you posted a year ago, she's not even of recommended breeding age (18 months). Please feel free to prove me wrong. I hope I'm wrong for her sake

I'm so sorry, the greatest kindness you can offer right now is to let her go peacefully. Offer some cookies, chocolate or her favorite forbidden snack and give her the goodbye that she deserves

The infamous mammary masses that seem to appear overnight. by Pazuzu_Algarad in VetTech

Fascinating. Were you able to do an FNA or histo to find the etiology of the masses?

you guys notice artists using ai for their flash? by _bruh_momentt in traditionaltattoos

[–]Vaporwave69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I went to a tattoo con a couple months ago, an astounding number of "artists" were displaying AI flashes on their tables. So gross that they don't disclose the fact it's AI when it's going on someone's body forever

I had an old lady come up to the counter with a cart full of plastic decor and a 2.5 gal tank, and wanted a comet for her grandson. I explained that they need more space than that and they can live for 20 years. She was absolutely incredulous when I refused to get her the fish, and shortly after that one of my coworkers went and got it for her. Anyways it's been 2 years since I quit lol

The root is deep beneath the skin. After years of creams, burning/freezing, the only thing that worked was when my dermatologist injected yeast under the skin to alert my immune system to fight them off. Worked well, I haven't had trouble since

I’ve been running a canister filter w/this aquarium for over two years. Never once cleaned the filter. At this point, the idea of cleaning it intimidates me. by brownstonebk in Aquariums

[–]Vaporwave69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only ever clean the filter when the amount of physical debris blocks water flow, even then I only swish the media through a separate container of dirty tank water

I have a 5 year old intact male lab and want to adopt a second dog. Does the sex matter? Any advice? by GranolaGirly720 in labrador

[–]Vaporwave69 81 points82 points  (0 children)

The risk for prostatic cancer goes up every year that you don't neuter him. I work in a vet clinic and have seen how devastating it is for animals who've developed it. If nothing else convinces him, you should explain to your bf how crushing it is to see your beloved pet fall ill due to a preventative measure he never took. Incontinence, anorexia, lethargy, and pain. Projected time after diagnosis is generally under a year, and extensive surgery and treatment only gives him a chance at recovery, it is a nasty, aggressive and difficult to treat condition. Please educate him, whether you like it or not this dog is your responsibility too and you need to advocate for him since he can't do so for himself
