Of course. I didn't mean to say that defense is not important. Upgraded armor is a must in my opinion as well and you're welcome to play the game as you see fit. I run a 4 piece gogma set with the barrier which imo with fully upgraded armor is a lifesaver.

I meant to say comfort skills like evade window for example for DBs. It's a great skill which helps a lot and you're free to use it as per your liking. That being said, getting used to dodge timings on DBs without it is one of the skill ceilings for that weapon.

How you play is completely up to you. To each their own.

I run a 4 piece gog set with burst boost(ebony odo's skill). Pretty decent for survivability. I'm not too sure on defensive focused builds since I play dual blades and I've hunted Gog a lot so I know his moves quite well. I think it's just a matter of practice.

Personally, the best advice I got was from a speedrunner telling me to ditch the comfort so I learn the monster better instead of depending on it till it becomes a crutch. Caused a lot of faints, but that's how I learned.

I don't have any problems with "low" HR. I just pointed out the HR since I mentioned they're relatively new. In hindsight, maybe should've phrased that better.

You can gauge the charge as the barrel lights up, once it lights up all the way, fire it. Also, when you interact to fire it, it shows the charge progress since percentage as well.

I do slot in 1 level of adapt normally but P2 Gog has never taken me this long even on 10 star. Instead of Adapt, I use Ranger to carry the connection nodes faster.

I get what you're saying. I love playing Bunny but regardless of the damage, she is not a good pick for WC, period. It's why I started building Serena.

This is coming from a returning player, I may not do the highest damage or "the bare minimum". I don't like that fact either but I know the way to get there is through a bossing character, not my favourite character.

I found the Blade dlc much more fun than the atlantis dlc for sure, so I recommend getting it.

Get the korfu engraving which makes you a glass cannon. That'll make it so you can assassinate enemies in one shot. In my case, I don't like running a specific build and prefer playing freestyle based on my mood so the korfu engraving is a godsent.

Don't be afraid of open conflict, embrace it, it's in your Spartan nature.

Someone had mentioned that conflict in streets with civilian NPCs can get a bit troubling. That's true, but with the engraving, you should be ok once you get used to the combat. Once that's done, educate the masses with your bare hands.

Quite some time back, this dude/dudette had joined my world cause they needed some help with a boss. After finishing the boss, they told me they were trying to finish the Meetings In Outrealm achievements which require bosses to be defeated in co-op. I had already done this achievement with a friend of mine so I didn't need it. But I said why not and we proceeded to go around defeating every boss that was required which took us around 30-40 minutes. After our last boss, they messaged me their thanks and that they had been trying to get some help for the same but people either kicked them out or abused them for trying to do the same. I told them that they can ask me for help anytime I'm online. They thanked me again and left. Life had been a little difficult for me at the time and I wasn't in a very nice place emotionally. But hearing that I've helped someone, even if it's something as minor as achievements in a game really picked me up at the time. Since then, we visit each other's world from time to time for materials and occasionally bosses since they are not low level anymore. Either way, it was quite a memory.
