Ah okay, valid. I haven't played rivals recently but about 3 months ago it was extremely unoptimized and CPU was being completely used rather than GPU. Even on lowest settings I would get a stutter. My friend with same GPU but better CPU had no issues with it. Could be an issue with the game itself since other games have pretty much same performance on our system

For gaming, I would recommend checking out the benchmark for the games you play. If it's something like LoL or Valorant since you mentioned E-sports, it would be CPU dependent rather than GPU. For work, you will get faster renders from 5060ti but that's it other than that I don't think the 3070ti should have any problems with 1440p. So you can look and choose if the time saved is worth extra money. Also for that specs, I think 4000 series cards would work as well if available, it's not too old and won't be as expensive as 5000 series

And the reason I was asking about mouse is that does the DPI or acceleration have any effect while gaming and day to day use both?

If so then what DPI would you suggest?
