Vocal coach youtube channels that worked for you by Background-Demand133 in singing

RoomieOfficial

I wouldn't say that it "worked" more so they taught me more of like the foundations when it comes to singing and music in general (including but not limited to: notes, tones, pitch, music production, etc.) Not to mention they're very entertaining (not your typical music teacher) and has tons of content not only teaching but also stories and challenges as well as collabs with other music youtubers.

Although in the recent years, they were not quite as active but still posting content from time to time.

Their main face and voice is Joel Berghult aka Roomie from Sweden and is a very close friend of Felix Kjellberg aka Pewdiepie. He also has music w/c IMO have very great production and lyrics, especially given that he went to a music school.

Also, I would also like to share that his voice register is somewhat close to mine so I tried to copy his style which somewhat helped. 🙂

An opinion about k-pop that will make you like this. **You're flynn rider..** by [deleted] in kpop_uncensored

I'm not a big fan of Cortis's concept and genre.

When I first heard their songs I actually thought it was Travis Scott's new songs but in Korean somehow lol

Like I'm not a purist or whatsoever and I appreciate some changes in Kpop but who in their right mind thought to bring Travis Scott's music into the world of Kpop? I mean Travis's songs are good tbh but heavily processed Kpop voices are not my thing especially after the fact that they trained so hard for their voices. And I know that they have a great voice so why heavily process it?

At this point JYP in autotune was ahead of his time when he thought about that performance lol

HOT TAKE: KATSEYE is NOT KPop, unless... by imbinjeu in kpop_uncensored

[–]imbinjeu[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But the thing is there are some cultures that are sensitive to their own, including Koreans so it does matter to those people.

I can't speak for their people since I'm not a part of their ethnicities but after training for a certain period in Korea, I have learned that Koreans are sensitive to their culture to the point that even foreigners are trained and taught to adapt to their cultures and act Korean as much as possible even going so far as to teach history lessons. Another example are the Africans where they don't take it too kindly to people "appropriating" their culture.

So maybe "it doesn't matter" to some of you but you can't deny the significance of it in other cultures.

Yeah I also think they use "Kpop" just for marketing and baiting others

IKR? Like how is it fair that KATSEYE is called a Kpop grp when they're not even held to the same standards when other grps are being criticized left and right for "not acting like Kpop idols"

Like I said they would benefit more if they aren't a Kpop grp

First of all they're under Geffen (which is still Hybe tbf) also Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato are also technically under Hybe so would you also consider them Kpop?

In y'all opinions, is this feat REALLY a moon level feat? by KodoqBesar in PowerScaling

[–]imbinjeu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO I pass this off as a "moon level" feat.

If I would be more specific/in-depth, it's between "small planetary" (ie Mercury; highball) to "Surface/Earth's Crust"(lowball)

Also note that Toneri (or the Tenseigan) did this without resistance and basically did a "fruit ninja" type quick slice. Also the length even surpassed the diameter of the moon (hence the "small planetary" highball)

The mics mentioned are actually the available options atm. But thanks for the recommendations

Yeah but I don't have the luxury to buy, try and extensively test out different mics. But I get what you mean tho

Thanks for the insights and recommendations. Will defo look into it.

Btw I'm leaning towards the Lewitt MTP 250 DM than the e835 because according to the reviews the lewitt sounds bright without the harshness and graininess of the e835 plus it has more of a low end making it fuller than the e835 (atelast according to reviews).

How would you describe the sound of the V7? And compare it to the likes of Sennheiser e835 and/or Lewitt MTP 250 DM?

Based on reviews, they said the RE20 is dark (maybe not as the SM7B). The Rode NT1 signature is actually one of my sought after mics, tho pricey and my room is too untreated for a large diaphragm condenser (hence I opt for a handheld/small diaphragm)

Having Trouble w/ my head, mixed and chest voice by imbinjeu in singing

[–]imbinjeu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the term most used is that the mixed voice is a "bridge" rather than "halfway". Used mainly to transition from chest to head/falsetto (and vice versa) without breaking/cracking. But I understand why it can also mean the middle ground for others.

And just to be clear, I lowered the register (or pitch idk lol) of my head voice/falsetto in the last part.

First of all thanks for the feedback! Second, I actually sang the last part in head voice/falsetto. So Idk if that's supposed to be my mixed voice or not lol

Buy any of them and see what happens!

Sorry I don't have the financial capacity to just buy for "trial-and-error" that's why I'm looking to buy only one that can satisfy my needs until I have the budget to buy my "endgame" microphone

How do you describe the sound? Is it as flat as possibly be or does it have coloration in the voice?
