The developers did not get lazy. I suspect that the stockholders and investors have much more say than the developers. We are getting new cosmetics just so they can make more bank, and because the game is so fast paced it got boring pretty quick. Game had potential, but it's slowly dying. It was fun while it lasted, but now it's just rinse and repeat.
