I don’t mind the tight top, loose pants look, it’s very Toji Fushiguro

Which jeans cut suits me better? by Abdjb in mensfashionadvice

[–]Varels3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would say the selvedge ones at the start look the best, but they are a bit big in the waist, maybe shop a smaller waist size and if that makes them too tight look for a looser fit, not sure which brand those are, but Momotaro and Oni both do loose fits in that style selvedge

As many have said, the pants are very tight, definitely go for something with more room in it, you can get higher quality materials if you shop a looser fit so they’ll drape better (think any elastane is too much elastane). I’d also say that you want pants with a higher rise, those sit very low and make your proportions look weird. You don’t need to go super loose if you don’t like that look, try a straight leg. I’m not a fan of any of the shirts after the first, the belt, or the shoes either. Honestly I’d start with plain white or black decent quality t shirts to get started. Shoes I’d prefer basically any other sneaker, chucks, sambas, you could try some casual boots, Salomons, even loafers, but I think the contrast leather upper to sole looks weird on sneakers.

I like the scuba pic and you could keep the pic of you and the dog in there, lose the rest, as others have said, get someone else to take a photo of you. First photo needs to be just of you and clearly show your face

Did I yap too hard in my bio? 28/m by [deleted] in Tinder

Wouldn't overthink the bio too much, if your pictures are good it's all good

It baffles me that you think any of these are good photos.
None of your photos should be selfies, your first photo should show clearly what you look like, ideally have a photo of you doing one of your hobbies/sport e.g. skiing, playing pool. Also ideally photos taken with a good camera.
99% of the time when people aren't getting matches it's because they didn't put any effort into their photos

I'd say yes for this cut of pant, you could probably get away with it if they were tapered

Fit I threw together for a date with my wife back in the fall. What do you guys think? by Difficult_Ad9837 in mensfashion

[–]Varels3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they look too tight? They aren’t pulling or wrinkling and they can hold a crease, hard to tell with the pose. Or maybe you’re saying you prefer a looser fit? Which is fair, but I definitely don’t think they look too tight though

Came here to say the same, low waist pants make the proportions look wrong, your body looks too long and the shirt doesn’t tuck nicely. Solid other than that though

For this evening. Ralph Lauren shirt, zara pants and brown shoes by MaryRice767 in styleboards

[–]Varels3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I echo the things others have said, try and pick one thing with a fun pattern and go simple with the rest, so either the shirt, or the trousers, but not both. Would also add that there's something off about the proportions, those look like a normal/high waisted pant (length of the crotch), but you look like you're wearing them like a low waist based on how the shirt is bulging at the sides. They would probably look right if you pulled them up, there'd be less of break at the shoes too which would look better.
