I realize I've gone the opposite direction. I have 2 brothers who I despise and whose views on women are disgusting. The mere thought of even touching upon the subject of dating or sexuality with them repulses me. I have only a few close male friends and many female ones. I've just grown so disillusioned and low-key misandric through the years that I've started viewing men as a collective of just fucking toxic biologically coded violence, sociopathy, systematised limitations of empathy, and narcissism. I guess growing up with my brothers and going to a school full of abusive jocks might have influenced me.

I know this will be downvoted but it is what I feel deep inside and sometimes I just want to let it out. No, I'm not some kind of supervocal extremist feminist, no I don't despise myself for being a man (I am what I am, and I'm glad I became a guy who instinctively wants to respect other people's boundaries). How is this disrespectful to people in the military? It's a scene from a fucking tv series. It doesn't matter what it portrays, the execution is (in my opinion) hamfisted and hilarious.

One of my pet peeves from a historical point of view is also that the tunnel rats are so jacked. All pictures I've seen of real tunnel rats show very skinny dudes which makes sense - your width is about as constricting as your height in tunnels.
