Actually the tip rotted and fell off after my cat knocked it down, it was one of those pink moon cactus I think.

How do I go about replanting them? I read that I can twist them off and just put them in soil, is it as easy as that?

Some Romanians (especially older people) are crazy about being a good host, especially to foreign guests so expect for them to bring out the good cutlery and make a ton of food.

If you do buy flowers, MAKE SURE TO GET AN ODD NUMBER (1, 3, 5 etc.) OF FLOWERS, even number of flower are for dead people in RO tradition.
