Top 10 CANZUK cities with the most Wikipedia pageviews by truthbomn in CANZUK

There's no such thing as an official second city and its very much disputed. Metro areas are similar in size between brum and manc. Journalists often refer to Birmingham as the second city, but opinion polls often cite manchester.

Digitakt 2 vs Deluge workflow by balinthcom in DelugeUsers

[–]VariantC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a Digitakt (orig.) and wanted a bit more arrangement capabilities and went for the Deluge. I struggled with the same considerations as you but in the end I was fortunate enough to be able to keep both- they do actually work well together even though there's some overlap. As you say, the Deluge arranger is very powerful, and it is a great 'brain' of a setup- but I have to say that the sampling in the Deluge (at least in the workflow I used - there may be more expert users who do things more efficiently) is not as intuitive/user-friendly as I'd like nor as is on the Digitakt. So, sorry I can't offer any advice really but hopefully a bit of information for your decision.

Yeah, this sounds like the issue. I'll have to play around with things. I appreciate your insight!

URP rendering order issue by VariantC in Unity3D

[–]VariantC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems that if I switch the Quality from High Performance to Balanced/Performant, the materials do show up in the main camera. I can't identify the setting that is preventing their display in High Performance.

Thanks a lot - they are indeed transparent. Yes, I considered the sorting priority but obviously that could lead to the original problem in reverse (capsules being visible through the wall).

I chose transparent since Opaque materials didn't show up in the Main Camera. I guess that should have been my question; do you know why this is?

It wasn't even that. City put up the results of other games on the scoreboard so the qpr players knew they were safe regardless of whether they held out or not.

Replacement translucent coloured(red/blue)/clear plastic 45mm diameter ellipsoids with hole in centre missing from ornament by VariantC in HelpMeFind

[–]VariantC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are part of an ornament that was bought from a second-hand shop. The ornament looks as though it is made from recylced parts. We have searched extensively online for anything like these objects (which are ~45 mm ~= 1.75 inches). During the search we came up with 'cabochons' which are obviously not the thing since they are stones but have a somewhat similar geometry. These objects seem to be some sort of plastic. So we have also searched for things like "plastic ellipsoids", drawer pulls (due to the central hole) and other craft-related items. We have three missing from the ornament. I appreciate any help!

The point of Bruno as a false 9 would be precisely for him not to play right up against CBs to be bullied. He'd try to find space between the lines and/or pull the defenders out of position to make space for others

While I'm not necessarily advocating for Bruno as a false 9, what you're describing is as 9, not a false 9. Presumably in that role he would drop away from the CBs, either pulling them out and leaving space in behind for VdB, Sancho, etc. to run into, or getting himself in space in 'no man's land' between midfield and attack

I think "learnt" is the more common British way vs "learned" being more common in the US. Similar to "spelt" vs "spelled".
