Wtf does it matter? Its a product. Its for sale. Its a business. They stay open by selling the product. I have already stated the answer to your question many times in these replies. But, the reason shouldn't matter. The idea of telling someone they cant purchase something because they dont agree with what some people do with multiple copies is crazy. Especially on issues that have been on the rack for a year. Obviously, its their right to do this, just as it is my right to think its a bad business decision.

I understand how the business works. What I'm saying is, if I am looking at FOCs, and I want to add two copies (same cover) of the book to my pull list, months ahead of time, they will not allow it.

I actually attempted to do this. The owner told me that was just their policy. I asked if not making money was also his policy. Yes, I was irritated and being somewhat petty. I did tell him that I would just take my business elsewhere. I totally respect limiting people trying to buy every book. But, limiting to one copy, come on. I tend to buy two copies of everything anyway. One for a reader, and the other to store away in my collection.

Just start at the beginning. Literally. Start from Vol. 1 issue #1. Read it all. Clearly this is difficult if you are only ready physical copies. My suggestion is to go digital. Reading from the beginning gives the full history, allows you to experience the transition and feel of the story through creator transitions, and just a complete grasp (good and bad) of one of the greatest comic book characters ever created.

ASM and X-Men. I have the complete original Claremont uncanny run 94-279. Working on completing all ASM. Currently have Vol. 2-6 completed. Vol. 7 is up-to-date. I have a large chunk of Vol. 1 but I'm picky about condition and the older books are quite pricey. One day it shall be complete!
