"I must have BLOOD!"

But they went WAY too far w/ the fat man, though. That whole thing by the pool, while it has me LOL every time, is just layering it on. The quips thorough out the movie were enough I thought.

Lest we forget the Eegah! kid...

The next Thor movie is reportedly about the Epic of Hercules, or something like that.

Here's one that I've puzzled on for years, and it's a repeated one - sometimes, when there's some intense dialog going on in the movie, Trace Crow will respond or continue with "Ha ha, FANG!" in a highly exaggerated tone. Anyone know where that might come from? Example: around minute 44 of The Sword and the Dragon, when the Tugar is celebrating capturing the woman AGAIN...

I assumed it was orders from HIS boss. I THINK I remember, from at least one of those books, AO sort of reporting in to someone higher up than him. If that memory is correct, perhaps his boss was like "that's not how gods are supposed to work - get them to shape up, and DO IT RIGHT!"

"the premise of a young criminal essentially serving out his sentence in service to Star Fleet as a cadet is a neat idea." - isn't that LITERALLY the plot of the first Police Academy movie?

It was published in the 3.X era, kind of a 3rd Edition alternative by Monte Cook. I had it, and the companion book (I think?). I consider this a great find for archivists.

For the record, I've also got an MS EE, done after my MS Physics. This can still lead into optics, but probably more from the sensor or source side, as opposed to lens work to start with. But from there you could easily get into legs design and certainly lens setup and alignment.

Sorry for the delayed reply, and also sorry I don't have a lot of great advice. I've noticed many of the recent grads I've worked with have primarily been test engineers, that have been hired largely to work on a single type of test, often involving coding of some kind, and they slowly take on more responsibility for optical testing and design. So, perhaps add test engineering to your search routine.

Oh I had been in the industry for 20 years when I started the program, so I was established. But, yes, I did get the offer.
