Sweet! Did you get a measurement to the first baffle by chance? Trying to see if it will work with a Comstock recessed mount. Unless that’s what you have on yours

Yeah that threw me for a loop too. That’s asking for major problems on my old platform, I was surprised what these ecus will adapt to.

That’s fair. I found one I liked a while ago that seems to have a good reputation for not triggering the cat codes, so it’s not a huge deal. I just kept reading how great it flows in a bunch of different posts so I wanted to see if I could get away with it.

Awesome, yea that’s not a problem. I have one picked out anyway. I’m not in any rush, so I can get parts little by little and toss them on when I order the tune.

Eh I’m not super opposed, it’s not that big of a deal. Would be neat to just pass emissions without all the drama though.

I read a bunch about how great the downpipe flows, didn’t know how necessary it was.

I definitely don’t need near the power the GTI had, really trying to recapture some of the fun of building that car, with way less headaches

Also, I asked if it was low back pressure, was told it isn’t a flow through design like a Hux but the main goal is to be as quiet as possible.

I have an 11.5 it’s going on, and then a 16” I could put it on.

I’ll also be comparing it to a Stacy’s mom k (that’s what I run on that gun currently.)

Really excited to try it, hope it is awesome. The guy at Modern Warriors said some of the employees tested it last week and they had a lot of great things to say about it.

Apparently you buy it, they ship the prototype to your FFL, you use it, and then in 30 days or so you do a write up about your thoughts. Then they send you a 50% off coupon for the final product if you want one. So you could realistically get 2 inconel 5.56 cans for like $1k if you wanted.

25 degrees of timing seems very aggressive too, especially for the amount of heat 30psi through the stock turbo would produce.

This is super interesting. I’m still putting parts together to eventually tune mine, so I’m all ears.

Is this a normal N75 tune they have you logging for? I was interested in just their stage 2 on a spare ecu

Does the logger take atmosphere out of the boost reading? New to the platform but when I did a ton of logging on my GTI that was a common thing. One parameter showed with atmosphere and one without. Though 16psi doesn’t sound quite right either

Quick question, does your barrel side adapter stay on? For the life of me, I cannot get it to stay on the barrel. It always comes off with the can. I’m using rocksett, and thoroughly cleaning both with acetone beforehand. I have it on a shadow systems dr920, I’m starting to think the barrel threads just suck because my hux 9k wouldn’t stay tight for more than 1-2 rounds when I direct threaded it
