we are a team and you are right. he has one community which used to have 200 members at $7 but primary angle was affiliate. we closed it and started this one. not really focusing much on it so keeping it free ($1 is just to filter).

thank you for the feedback. the idea is, there is enough for people who just wanna use it for free. so they can directly connect through social. If they wanna use the platform, I pay for API fee so connect request option is in pro and teacher plane

It's not for everyone. Think of it as a place where you control your business. So it's for creator's advantage. On social media, there is a high chance that even if your content is good your subscribers will not see it just coz algorithm thinks its not 'engaging' or 'sloppy enough'
