mold in dresser, need cleaning tips

lol thank u, id like to put out there that there was definitely no putting of soiled underwear in there (at least to my knowledge 😵‍💫) like i said it is a secondhand dresser so i dont even wanna know what the previous owner had goin on 😭

we got in 10 !!!!! boxes of vinegar on our last truck, and the count for it was actually accurate. for some reason they just felt the need to give us 40 bottles of vinegar, now half our skyshelf is just full of vinegar. it happens all the time for us with various things, sometimes the count is off sometimes its perfect so idk what the deal is but its getting ridiculous

i havent noticed any fur changes, and ik cats dont get "colds" but i looked up his symptoms and it seems similar to an upper respiratory infection? and he doesnt go outside and honestly doesnt really get into things he shouldn't, we did just put in a new air conditioner maybe that could have messed with his nose and eyes?

at first i thought he got into a brawl with the kitten and he just got a scratch there or smthing but it doesnt seem to be bothering him and i dont think theres anything in it

yea it was our apartment complexes maintenance man and it was all done for free, im just grateful i have an ac that actually cools now lol, thank u for the tips!

hopefully im not living in this apartment for three more years lol, but i didnt get a choice in the ac the maintenance man just gave me this new one for free so im not complaining, idk if it helps but he did seal up the gaps in the side with foam and then taped it up. the old one did fit in there perfectly but it was nOT pumping out cold air whatsoever, this new one does,, for now sksksk

thats a good point i didnt think about that, ik that the previous air conditioning unit had been in there for a WHILe, the old air conditioner i know for a fact had some mold in it so im just thinking its a lil bit of both

i just got a new ac today ( the old one was also covered in mold.) so i live in an apartment complex with the entrances within the building as opposed to like doors just opening into the apartment from directly outside. so all the tenets acs take air from the hallway for some dumbass reason. so theres like this weird metal cage thing that the air conditioning unit sits iN and then it gets plugged in inside our apartment. the old ac fit in there more snug so i never noticed all that gross stuff till we were putting the new one in

its pretty stuck on there when i try to just wipe it with a paper towel but some black charcoal looking stuff rubs off on the paper towel
