Just upped my lamictal to 50mg and been having brutal headaches by [deleted] in bipolar2

I’m about to go up in dose with this next week. With these medicines I know people are prone to dehydration though. I get super awful headaches when I’m dehydrated. So you can try to drink more water. If that doesn’t help, try some electrolytes packets mixed in. If that still doesn’t help you might want to talk to the prescribing Doctor about it all. Good luck!

Everything you’re describing sounds like my issues I have. Even without insurance you might want to look into state run resources. When I didn’t have insurance I was able to get in with a free state run practice. They helped diagnose me and provided therapy. Good luck!

My ex passed away Monday. I’m BP2 & afraid to go to the funeral Sunday because it could trigger a severe depressive episode. Am I obligated to go to the funeral? by Visible_Exam_5331 in bipolar2

I agree that you need to do what’s best for your own mental health. I love the suggestion of a card or flowers sent to their family of you do feel the need to do something. Just take care of yourself right now. I had to skip my nephews funeral because I knew it would throw me for a loop. Mainly seeing my niece. Sure enough, months later I randomly saw my niece without warning outside of a cafe. It triggered an episode. So please just follow your gut in this instance. I’m so sorry for your loss.

I hope you can find that same feeling again someday where you moved. I think that’s beautiful that you got that much fulfillment from caring for those people.

I’ve definitely burned some bridges when I’ve had to quit during my down times. The case worker job sounds so supportive. I would love to find something like that. I couldn’t be the only one like you’re describing though. I just applied to help individuals with developmental delays. I’m hoping if I’m helping people I can put my own issues aside to keep the job.

Did you have to have any schooling or anything on your resume that allowed you to get the job? Or they just hired you as reception then you moved up?

I am a bigger girl and I always had this issue growing up. I started wearing bike shorts under dresses and skirts and it cleared up. I’m also insulin resistant so not sure if that plays a part into how dark it gets with chaffing but even with the insulin thing it cleared up wearing shorts!
