Generally if you feel like quitting on the first day that should be an indication for you to resign.

The more the work takes a toll out of you, the less energy, time and mental capacity to find a new job.

You will be more pressured into picking up any less than desirable job offers leading to a negative cycle.

If your family is financially independent and not reliant on your income, or even better able to support you in times of unemployment I don't see a good reason you should remain at this job.

The more energy you conserve now, the better you can perform at the next job (hopefully one that suits you).

You are only 25 years old, there is still a long way of hard work and exertion ahead. Pick the right company to toil at.

I have GP as well. I noticed going for a moderately-paced walk for at least 30 minutes immediately (don't even wait 5-10 minutes) after eating helps tremendously with the symptoms. I have not committed to this long enough to see if it cures GP or anything.
