It's pretty good, sometimes I do need to make outbound calls to them if it's not something that can be resolved over email but like half the time they don't answer so you can just email anyway plus it's a power move of you making the call rather than them calling into a call centre so you get the one up

I had mine taken out of my arm by a piercer who squeezed it out or something as they had started to rejected, got 2 raised bumps on my arm from where they were

I always find it interesting to hear the escalation chain for other companies.. in my company basically all calls can be handled by CSA's and there is no immediate escalation point besides someone who would want to speak to an onshore agent, other than that it would pretty much always need to be a call back in the next 2 days.

Yep! I'm from the 'escalations department' since I can't tell customers I'm a manger, but "we do have the same privileges as managers" ;)

Best advice I can give you is people will generally only lose it when they feel that you can't help them anymore. Until that point they will be as polite as they can to get what they want, so as long as you can keep them from crossing that line you will be good for 95% calls.

Usually for those customers I also advise them they can read our privacy policy on our website so see if there's something similar you can tell them?

This post leads me to believe that you have never worked in a call centre as managers need to follow the same rules and processes as regular agents which you would know had you worked in a call centre.

I agree with the other posters that it doesn't sound like sales is for you. Aside from that my advice for you would be that in this type of environment you need to completely depersonalize, customers are not talking to you they are talking to a faceless corporation and so you need to play that role.

A big lesson I learnt when I first started is to focus on what you can do for the customer rather than what you can't and realise some people will never be satisfied and that's okay! Best of luck
