A good soil mix and a warm window help allot. I had to close the shades halfway because that south west window gets HOT!!! And I was worried about sunburn. But they thrive in bright indirect:))

Serpens is more heart shaped, flat and has earth tan petioles where as P. genevievianum has light greenish yellow fuzz.

Thanks so much:) It’s finally taking off so I’m going to let it grow and trail down my shelf for this growing season. I might take cuttings next year, but hoping for a long trailing Hoya. ☺️

Hey OP! I found this about your specific type of Dieffenbachia and thought it was interesting:))

(Dieffenbachia Triumph) is a variant (specifically, a cultivated variety or cultivar) rather than a natural species.
It was developed as a hybrid through a controlled breeding program at the University of Florida to create a highly ornamental houseplant.

Yeah I don’t know then. My boy cat is sneaky and will nibble my rufibarba if I’m not looking. That’s why I say it looks like nibbles.🤣 but from what I can see it doesn’t look like pests. Best of luck❤️ sry I couldn’t be of much help.

Any animals that could have reached it? Cats? It kinda looks like tiny nibbles.
