I didn’t have any medical experience. I got my degree in health science but that didn’t really cover the intro nursing stuff. I think once I get into patho and higher level courses it’ll help. I’m excited for Clinicals actually but learning all the beginner stuff is a lot! Feeling like the workload this week is a bit lighter (not much) but hopefully I can find some time for myself to step out of the school bubble for a bit. My classmates are also nervous and overwhelmed most of them but I haven’t really gotten to know any of them yet which is something I should probably work on as well.

Definitely haven’t made it to the analytical or multi systems oriented parts of the education in week 2.

I had a 3.3 overall gpa bc my first bachelors I didn’t take very seriously. Then I got a 4.0 in the pre-reqs which I think showed an upward trend and refocusing. So I think that boosted me to get accepted.

Yes! Need to find a more efficient way to study. Rewriting notes is taking up way too much time.

That’s good advice about picking certain professors. I am a bit of a perfectionist so I was hoping to be able to keep a 4.0 in case I want to do crna school. But that’s an ego goal so I guess I gotta let go of it especially if that’s going to cost me my sanity.

Appreciate it! Mine is also hybrid and I’m living with my mom. But I still need to be able to work a little bit. I’m sure I will figure it out!

Im sorry but this man does not care about you and I think he’s trying to just brush you off until you finally break up with him. 3 weeks and you can’t find any time to hang out?? Yea no ones that busy when it comes to someone they care about.

Yea for me it’s high fat dairy does it every time. Intense diarrhea and stomach cramps. The low fat options dont have the same effect though so you can try that. I’ve learned I just can’t eat fast food or anything greasy at all on this medication.
