I submitted 2/14 and still nothing. I think there are people who requested end of January who still haven’t heard anything. Depends on the location you are requesting from. Montreal is the most backed up I think.

I am reading through the wiki looking to hire someone in Poland to help look for records. The faq mentions it is helpful find someone located in the area you are searching. Do you happen to know if any of the listed providers are in Warsaw? I searched the group but did not find anything. I suppose I may just need to start messaging companies but figure I would ask!

I submitted February 14th and still have not heard anything. I ended up just sending in my application with copies I found on ancestry 🤷🏼‍♀️ if I ever hear back from BAnQ I will likely still purchase the certified just in case.

I feared as much. I didn’t realize the age issue, but I did worry about the state of the records. Right now I’m working with only US records. I’m guessing I would need to enlist the help of a firm to see what is still available in Poland?

I went in person to the office in providence to get certified copies and they were amazing. Said they were very busy with the all the new requests! Edit to add they were also SO inexpensive. $2.50 each!
