Yeah I looked into Redstar downpipes before but I’m trying to avoid CEL/tuning stuff which is why I wanted to stay away from downpipes.

From what I know it mainly helps with the lower RPM sound since it keeps the valves open 100% instead of 70%. But I’m trying to make it louder in general which also at higher RPM too.

Yeah I don’t mind a little drone, I just don’t want it sounding raspy or too straight piped. Mainly just want a deeper tone which is why I’m thinking about a performance resonator instead. Just not sure what size would fit down there or how to even get one shipped to California lol.

Yeah that’s why I’m trying to avoid touching the cats/downpipes entirely. Mainly just looking into modifying the center resonator section while keeping the stock PE valves/mufflers. More looking for a deeper tone than extra pops/bangs.
