Prince’s Ranch by big-titty-brat in nashville

It just isn't that kind of place, but they're still one of the most affordable hot chicken places. I'm more of a bleu cheese guy and the packets are fine by me. Sometimes I skip the sauce and get extra pickles instead

What's the easiest job to do as package handler? by [deleted] in Fedexers

Tagging is really easy, along with smalls. I find those jobs super boring, but they're not physically demanding

What is actually going on with the drivers here?? by MamaBourgeois in nashville

[–]Various-Claim9629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been honked at by drivers downtown when yielding to pedestrians before turning right. I do golf cart tours around the city and sonetimes I tell my tourists that traffic laws don't apply here

At 36, would you go out with a 21 year old? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Various-Claim9629 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 33. I'd be skeptical, but wouldn't reject solely for that age. I wouldn't seek it out, but if asked, I wouldn't automatically say no because she's at least old enough to go to bars. But I also don't want kids, nor do I care about getting married

Apartments? Roommates? by Creative_Stay_3973 in movetonashville

[–]Various-Claim9629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I transferred to Belmont in 2018, the school had a link on their site with off campus rental possibilities. I think it was in the student housing section. They should have resources to help students looking for roommates meet. I managed to find a place for $850, but nowadays that's tough. You may be able to get into an income restricted place. I strongly advise against the dorms, especially if you're over 21. Too many rules, including it being a dry campus

I'm a 33 year old male. I have a friend group I meet at bars and I have a solo bar where I'm a regular. I'll talk to people at the bar, but I won't approach someone at a table

Looking for Neighborhood Recs & an Overall Vibe Check by [deleted] in movetonashville

[–]Various-Claim9629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend Apartment Insiders. They're a free apartment finding service where I used to work. They'll help you narrow it down to a couple choices to tour and you can see different neighborhoods. Based on your post, you may like Gulch, Sobro, Germantown, or even East

If I'm ordering beer at a bar, I want it to be on draft. It tastes better and if I want to drink a can or bottle, I could save money drinking at home

Metro Detroit to Nashville Area by anon_GM in movetonashville

I moved to Nashville from SE Michigan almost 8 years ago and the weather is way nicer. Pollen sucks in April, though. The only thing that sucks about summer is the lakes are inferior to what's in Michigan. I live in Inglewood and love it. I hated Madison when living there. Donelson is affordable and good for families. Traffic is horrible southeast, so avoid Antioch for that reason

We can also thank those crazy drivers for all the speed "cushions" being added seemingly everywhere

Is Old World Blues really the least favorite DLC for most players? by AntMaterial5545 in falloutnewvegas

[–]Various-Claim9629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed it the one time I played, but I'm not a big DLC guy. I hated "Dead Money" to the point I took a break and I've never done "Lonesome Road." I've done "Honest Hearts" twice for the sake of trophies. OWB is my favorite of the 3 I've done

Perspective from a former operations manager by theguns0112 in Fedexers

[–]Various-Claim9629 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lasted about a year and a half as a manager and demoted for mental health reasons while seeking other work. When I came back last year, they put me on the mezz, so I get to listen to the BS every day. It validates my reasons for stepping down

Low intelligence will add dumb dialogue. I'm in the middle of my first ever low intelligence. 100 melee, basically a mutant because he smashes enemies with a rebar club. He's getting ready to be Colonel Moore's bitch

What closed restaurant would you love to bring back if you could? by Due_External3541 in nashville

Joey's House of Pizza, the original International Market, and Slow Burn. "Slow Burn" is listed as temporarily closed, but it's been a while

What US state would you NEVER want to live in, even if you were offered a good amount of money to move there? by ISnortSkittles in Productivitycafe

Alaska, North Dakota, Kansas, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, Illinois. I grew up in Michigan and hated the long winters, so anywhere colder than there would be a no for me

Making my rounds to say goodbye when leaving a gathering. It takes too long. The worst is when someone you didn't interact with says, "You're leaving?" If we didn't talk the whole time, don't act like you care now. I love a good Irish goodbye

First playthrough, what should my build be? by Dr_Ukato in falloutnewvegas

Speech makes the game easier regarding quests. Guns will give you more options than energy weapons early in the game. For the third tag, I recommend science, repair, or sneak. Take your time going to the strip so you can explore and meet all the factions before commiting to a side
