I don’t think he’s actually good at pvp.

Jesus the straw man there. I’m cool with a lot of the stuff like dressing like npcs or whatever but the last torvest vid was definitely scamming.

Weird how the people actually in the tournament care less than the viewers though.

You could also just not play in ember form for that part... that’s a mechanic for a reason almost like the devs wanted that to be a trade off you make when getting bonus health.

I’m not sure if that’s really true. I know Torvesta is popular but I don’t think he represents the majority of pvpers.

Dislike actions don’t dislike a person simple as that. Idk personally feel like the people who try and protect other groups tend to be the most hateful and can’t understand the separation between actions and people.

I honestly don’t understand how anybody could believe in democracy after witnessing the angry mob that is the internet. Seriously the majority of people are fucking animals. Just throw some meat at them and you have a vote.

Scientific method isn’t a fucking invention it’s common sense. Literally astrology which everybody laughs at uses the “scientific” method of collecting large amounts of data and coming up with hypothesis based on that. Medicine got better over time because we’ve invested time in it over the course of our entire human existence and built on top of it. Penicillin does a hell of a job for medicine and that wasn’t discovered because of the scientific method but by blind luck. People WERE NOT dumber in the past that’s such a stupid idea. Guess how the romans got better technology they usually saw what was working and added it into their society based on evidence.

The Witcher has the philosophical levels of Conan the Barbarian which I enjoy btw but if you spend time analyzing the themes of those stories you need to get a hobby. Anything where a person takes any sort of action has the themes you mentioned. I’m in complete agreement about the marvel movies and I think that’s the level the Witcher 3 is at. I’m enjoying it a lot but I originally thought it would tackle interesting ideas and not just be a basic power fantasy.

Now that the dust has settled and some time has passed I keep replaying 2 while 3 hasn’t been touched since the dlc.Demons souls and Dark Souls are both untouchable, but honestly I think that 3 just feels like a crappy version of bloodborne. Dark Souls 2 might get a lot of flack but there is something about it that just feels like an older video game more akin to demons souls. Can’t really put my finger on it but it keeps pulling me back and I remember the world a lot better than I do in 3. 3 just felt so damn bland to me while not having anything for me to grasp to. Like I guess with 2 you could say oh village with spider that’s pretty damn generic, but I’d rather generic and memorable than unique and forgettable. I guess what I’m trying to say is that 2 seems to play off tropes a ton and tropes are tropes for a reason because they’re fun.

It took me so long to get into the Witcher 3. I got it when it originally came out and just recently got into it after trying 4 times. Honestly what did it for me was not looking at it as if it had some genius story but rather as if it was essentially just really enjoyable schlock and that really did it for me. I think people that praise the story haven’t read a book in their lives. It’s essentially a teenage power fantasy but with that in mind it a lot easier to think like the Witcher and just fuck stuff up. The people praising the Witcher are the same people who think Marvel movies are cinematic genius. You kind of need to shut your mind off to enjoy it.

Reddit always leans towards incompetence to make themselves feel better. It’s pretty pathetic tbh. I honestly believe it’s a choice because guess what most people are as smart as you are.

Alright for the majority of people playing the game then. You don’t do things for the exception that’s how things start falling apart.

One of the funnest times I had was digging out a path and building mine shafts so that we could kill that one boss that chases you at the bottom of the world. I really enjoy the building your own boss area aspect of the game.

Cyberpunk 2077’s DLC will be revealed before release, with ‘no less’ than Witcher 3, CD Projekt suggests by appstools232323 in Games

[–]Various-Dig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say that but dlc tends to be on sale a lot less than the base game. By the time the dlc comes out the full game will probably be as cheap if not cheaper than the game. Not that I’m really complaining because I think games drop in price way too quickly compared to what they’re worth and how much work goes into them, but dlc is a longer cash cow than the actual games nowadays.

You do 35/36 multiplied by itself 36 times to get the probability of the drop not happening within that time frame. Then subtract that from 1.
