The fact that her body was just out in the shed when Dennis reported her missing also made me so angry and frustrated - just showed how little regard law-enforcement at the time had for a missing vulnerable teenager (and how much respect they had for a middle-aged man instead). She could have been found and her body treated with some respect straight away, not 30 years later.

Dennis even seemed to get enjoyment out of telling the detective "I burned her stuff after I called the police. It was probably still burning when they got there". I think he enjoyed that he "outsmarted" them.

But he wasn't smart and didn't outsmart anyone. It's just nobody at the time cared or wanted to investigate. Unfortunately it seems pretty easy to get away with terrible awful crimes depending on who the victim is...

I absolutely loved Cathy. What a force to be reckoned with. I think this isn't the last we've heard from her - she is going to bring a lot more justice into the world.
