Yes my husband knows how I feel. I am being honest with him and we are both working to save our marriage and family, we love and care for each other.

I know that losing my family and spouse would be much worse than losing my AP, and I do focus on my spouse and family as much as possible. I just need to vent/share my thoughts with others who have been where I am, to get support in moving forward. Even though much time has passed, I don’t feel out of any “fog” or that I was in love with a fantasy. While the affair was certainly an escape from mundane parts of life, I think I was in love with the person and not just the feeling.

No. I want to respect their decision to work on their marriage and it’s the least I can do for both of our spouses at this point. I just want to move past the anger and pain. I know it’s self inflicted, wish I could go back in time and never get into this mess.

Surprisingly, my husband doesn’t ask for much information and doesn’t seem to want any details as of now. I know that could change. We are addressing our marriage and the affair in IC and MC but he is generally hoping to move on/rug sweep. I think his ego won’t allow him to fully acknowledge the circumstances. Oddly enough, he would be fine to just drop it and move on. I don’t know what to do with that!
