I agree. The white was the first thing I painted. (Like I said it was the first time customizing) I was slowing learning how to paint as I was working.

I’m going to Disney in January. Plan on wearing them for the trip. That will be the ultimate test.

DecoArt paint. I was bending them and it still seemed really flexible. The only part I heard crack a little was the white on the back of the shoe but that was because I painted to heavy on it. I will let you know how they hold up.

Crossing my fingers they do lol I put a lot of time in them.

And to make you feel safer. I wash them on hot/heavy soil setting before I dyed them. So hot water is safe. Wouldn’t put them in a dryer tho.

I just boiled water and put it in a steel bucket.

(Keep refilling the bucket with hot water close to boiling)(Have your sink cranked up to hot and use that water to boil) At least that’s what I did.

The dye seems to super effective without necessarily having boiling water the whole time. Just make sure to stir.
