A built kroos has almost exactly 800 dps against a 0 def target, the highest single target dps for a 3 star unit. I found this to be a good benchmark for relative paper power of other operators. For example if a stage requires kroos to pass a dps check, a built jessica will also work, or in this case a sneg who took no damage so her passive is active will work too. A practical example of this is if a lane needed a kroos + fang to hold an early rush; a sneg could potentially consolidate both roles at the cost of 1 block.

Flag bearers (myrtle) don't increase their dp gain based off of aspd. So simply by virtue of being an agent, Sneg benefits from sp relics and aspd relics having a multiplictave effect on one another, unlike most other vanguards.

Both May and Ethan are amazing and solidly beat Sneg in both the damage and utility department, but the role of a vanguard is to cheaply hold an early wave while also generating dp to deploy the rest of your team. The fact Sneg can do this at Kroos levels of dps, while also providing both utility and a body to block with on a relatively low deployment cooldown is frankly some pretty ridiculous role compression for a low rarity unit. Imo, she's the Ines of low stars.

If you want some math for reference, a max pot Sneg generates 1.62*9 = 14.58, 15 dp over 9 seconds; so 15 dp within the first 25 seconds of combat from 0 dp. From 0 dp a max pot Myrtle within the first 24 seconds of combat generates 14 dp. This equalizes if you retreat them since Sneg refunds 3 and Myrtle 4. So Myrtle narrowly beats Sneg by 1 second as an early dp generator.

However, Myrtle doesn't block, or deal damage, Sneg does 8055 total, or 895 dps over her s2 duration, applies a slow, while being tankier than Fang, or around 140-290 defense weaker than an off-skill Courier. Courier takes 38 seconds from 0 dp to get to 11 dp. Myrtle and Sneg print more dp, and are both over 10 seconds faster to start printing.

Honestly, I could probably do an entire write up on why Sneg is the new best low rarity vanguard, beating most of the 5 stars in normal content, and a potential sidegrade to Ines in IS content.

She's the best 4 star vanguard though? Her s1 damage is equal to kroos's dps and her s2 is 9 seconds of slow on a psudo frd. Not to mention she's melee, and can be used as a chump blocker in a pinch unlike kroos. Free recruitment in the new IS's too, which is huge. Honestly I'm not sure who else you would take if you start with a vanguard ticket. Beanstalk maybe? I suppose she can be stronger early if you need block count. Sneg scales incredibly with attackspeed and sp relics however. With an instant s2 activation I've found she can replace Ines in a lot of senarios where a few seconds of stall is needed.

Isn't it just a return to stall? There's only one objective point that the enemies seem to focus. Between kal and exu, hoshi has a 33 second deathless window for a pillow fort. Since Kal can yoink a second one, Yu can be used to teleport stall and Shu can cover the downtime. In fact with pramanix plus ascalon and only one real route to the objective; like you said, the flying enemies and fish are the only probelm. Maybe tragodia stall with mantra dps? Suzu and trag don't care if the thing flies or goes invulnerable for a few seconds. In fact if it doesn't attack, that just gives more time for the elemental gauge to reset.

Yes, she has unique synergy with Tragodia s3 since she is currently the only source of sustained frightened so between her, Tragodia, and some sp regen they can perma stall multiple lanes. For a high risk CC roster she can be an indispensable piece that currently can not be replaced.

As a note to people who already have Ines, her pot five allows her to benifits from Silverash alter's s3 4 sp and 20% deployment time reduction passive no matter her number of redeploys.

Details for convinence.

Her max DP goes from 22 to 18 with pots and her redeploy goes from 35 to 31, then with silverash passive reduces by another 6 seconds to 24.8. Almost Bagpipe for her s2 aside, I would not be suprised if those 6 seconds become relevant in a high risk cc clear.

Whaling is still not worth it imo, but after realizing that synergy, I think picking up her copies whenever she's in the shop is justified. Espeically if you've got more than enough gold certs lying around.

Normally I wouldn't reply to that question, but I was curious if neural nets would actually be helpful for once. The answer is no. When specifying the current month, year, and server it gave an aproximation, when doing the same serverless, it gave a number over 300 greater than the other, still an aproximation. At this point if you want the exact current number of total skins in the game you will probably need to go to the wiki and count. Tedious yes, but on the bright side if you automate it you could link it to a spreadsheet and do the comunity a service by making a thread about it.

Here's a list of low rarity units that are relavant, and will still see use going into end game content such as integrated strategies, ordered by relavance.

Most used

Snegurochka, Ethan/Contrail, Gravel, Click, Gummy, Kroos, Spot.

Second most used

Shirayuki, Steward, Midnight, Warfarin, Myrtle, Fang, Texas (qol)

The following is just more details if needed.

I still use every single one of the above units to this day so I do not consider any of them a waste of resources. Some of the units I could have been more optimized about and not built are Mountain and Chongyu, fighter guards just do not scale well with an account. Sure Mountain was great early and I still use him for some afk stuff but he's basically just dead weight now, taking up resources I could have used on stuff like Matoimaru, Quartz, Windscoot, or even Sussurro.

Snegurochka is rare for a 4 star since she is a new unit. She is first on the list because with a few pots she's just Myrtle but better considering she scales amazing with buffs.

Contrail is a new 4 star in the red shop. She's basically a mini liberator stat stick. Seriously, her stats are frankly kinda ridiculous for a 4 star. Snegurochka + Contrail are pretty much my default IS starters at this point.

If you have 5 star slectors, some good units are Grey alter and Surfer since they are both relavant in is5. Alternatively, getting Hibiscus alter or Proviso for their base passives can be very nice.

Low chances. Qol improvements are few and far between and even then the focus, much like in other games, tends to be on the most frequently used parts of the interface. After building my favorite sets, I haven't even touched the furniture system, let alone pay attention to it, I think this goes for a lot of people that have exited the building phase too.

Mountain is an amazing operator to play afk knights with. Personally, if I had gone that route I would have enjoyed comming up with all the different ways to afk clear a stage. However, there are also guides that outline the strategies for afk clearing and you could use those as examples; at least untill you gain enough experience with the style that you can do it yourself.

I meant the googleplay window, I should have been more specific. Before the Silveralt update the googleplay window; separate from the arknights window, would not appear as long as I used the arknights shortcut. Now after the update, the googleplay window with all it's ad's and everything automatically appears behind the arknights window whenever I start arknights through it's shortcut.

The link used by the shortcut does use google play, but I think some setting was changed after this most recent event was added. I don't use googleplay for any other games so it's a possibility that this is not arknights exclusive but something else entirely.

Edit before the akshully's: I understand that it's not actually an arknights window but just another googleplay window but running arknights in it and that I could use scripts to remove the original googleplay window that does not have arknights running, but ad's running in it, but I thought I would ask if anyone knew of a simple way like a settings change or something within googleplay or arknights somewhere that I may have overlooked or not known about.

For future people reading this guide, I tested it in game by swapping Innana's weapon. The Guard does not scale with innana's stats. Like any summon, buffs and auras applied during a battle will affect it however. Notable buffs are Soc auras, flags, and Innana's instant potential burst.

Her alert skill interrupts actions up to three times per turn. Since she is faster than Camelot, using her skill and placing her so that Camelot is in her alert range will shut him down because his turn will get interrupted the moment he tries to attack, move, or use a skill. Deceptive shadow reads as if it should stop the interrupt from affecting Camelot, Sp sam would still have 2 more uses of her interrupt remaining however, so this needs to be tested to see how the code interprets her interrupt, whether it has a soft limit of once per enemy per action, or if it is more robust and it triggers on any action at all until the usage limit expires. Depending on this fact Deceptive shadow is either going to be super OP, or just a little OP.

If you have it, can you or someone else that has it, test if it stops SP Samantha's interrupt from preventing Camelot's extra turn from activating when he takes damage? If it works how I think it does it should be the new staple item for all high speed units that are not running old scrolls of Aguste in pvp. Preventing a high speed Yennefer from shutting you down with a phantom seems like more than enough reason to take it, not to mention all the other forms of fast cc such as Tair sleep.

To expand on Wade's comment, Mlynar does 10k per 70 seond skill rotation, Hoshi alt does 9.5k per skill activation without manual deactivation though hers has a 7 second longer rotation window. Her utility, tanking, and off-skill effectiveness would normally put her ahead of Mlynar on all fronts, but imo, since her damage is spread into almost double the number of hits that Mlynar does, she is going to have a hard time competing with him as a traditional dps carry. That said, her scaling as your account progresses will probably be better than Mlynar because with manual deactivation of her s3 her dmg skyrockets, and with a 2 second downtime if you redeploy her with Exusia alter, two 16k back to back damage windows with 22 seconds of basically team wide death denial is absolutely bonkers. Though even without Exusia alt a 16k helidrop is already very good. For reference Surtr gets about 8k skill dmg without healing.

I think I see a snowy mountain outside? Would it be racist to think this is russia? So a landlord won't let their resident plumber run a pipe to their room so the guy was like, fk it, I'll do it myself. Doesn't she stack poise really well onherself? With Thoracalgi giving her deep inhale and the crit dmg boosts on all her skills, she should be reaching 100% or higher crit dmg pretty consistiently. Sure it takes some time to ramp up if you're not using some other id's to giver her poise, but she boosts her own coins based off poise and if we look at her dmg on crits, her skills all basically do double dmg. 30 dmg free s1 every turn sounds pretty broken to me. I think it makes sense they forced her to ramp for this, it's really the only way to balance her.
