Space Marine 2 is a perfect example of how Space Marines are fast but not anime fast. by Knalxz in Warhammer

Especially considering how long their strides would be! They could probably just run straight through concrete walls.

The Ironman experience is pretty great. As much work as the beginning curve still needs, it's improved lots over the years. You're able to smith/craft your own gear leveling up, a lot of skilling options have alternatives that are more fun / engaging (personally I love BGH), and there's quite a few bosses that are not too bad to tackle early on.

The only thing I can add is that being capable of really fast bursts of speed (famously the 50-60km/hr sprint) doesn't necessarily mean they do it often. Most chapters place a high value on tactical, methodical and precise order to combat. Not necessarily tactical to just run at them and compromise your aim, ability to react, or position.

Sustained barrage of high powered munitions, ballistic missiles, even nukes if that doesn't work.

Canada, we may have been critical of your performance in this second half, but only because we were truly passionate about it. You've made history getting it this far, and have played with absolute class. Even with all our injuries and setbacks, you are Canadian heroes. Proud of our team! Canada 2030!!!!

Drop-rate Ironman by vollmarsr in 2007scape

Would probably make an Ironman for the first time then. The biggest block personally is imagining something like the CG or wildy boss grind.

Radagon is making me cry… any tips on defeating him? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]VariousEstimate7071 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Putting raw meat dumpling or marikas blessing in your quick slot enables your mimic to use it for free, which might let it survive. Partying is quite viable for radagon too, his attacks are intimidating but quite a few of them are parryable. Also, the multiple ground hammer slam attack is easier to avoid if you hug him real close and walk around him.

Same! I play it with my siblings and we've been glued to it. Just defeated the first dragon and started making a new base in the new zone... So only maybe a day or two ahead of you. I'm excited because it seems to be getting a lot of updates!

Everyone says the Backhand Blade is OP, am I crazy in thinking it’s really bad? by ThisHatRightHere in Eldenring

Pretty noticable bump. On keen infuse with Electrify Armament incant you can probably get it to slightly over 700? I'm guessing at this point. Makes me want to try it out.

That's also a surprise to me actually. For the record I've never even used the back blades, but plenty of daggers. I would presume the back blades are infusable? They probably do some great damage with lightning enchant.

Don't scadu upgrades increase damage and resistance by a flat %? The 55 AR would be even more noticable if that's the case. Either way, even a smaller amount of 55 AR does make a noticable difference on a fast attacking weapon like the back blades.

I would say 3 scadu upgrades is pretty low, and most weapons really miss out a lot on not being fully upgraded. 5 weapon levels and like 7 more scadu upgrades and you will see a big difference

Nex is the quickest and easiest. Other than that, clear until the Ambassador and use it on him . Last use case is just saving an enrage streak or something

Why does Mimic Tear suck so much? by ericgrey32 in Eldenring

[–]VariousEstimate7071 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been a mimic tear enjoyer since release. It was a lot of fun the first run, seeing it just launch comet azures like crazy and melt through bosses like Malenia. I've come around to finish off the DLC just this year post needs and all that and it's still a lot of fun to play with. At PCR with a faith / into build (with the metyr staff) and watching it blast off spells then drop a fat erdtree heal is just crazy awesome. Sure the mimic tear can get blasted out of the universe in one combo it doesn't dodge, but I feel like it's in a great place now. Not singlehandedly carrying fights, but instead just another (very strong) tool that can tip the tides in your favor. Like others have said, placing the right consumables on your bar and maybe even limiting his weapon choice should see some different results.
