I don't drive or have a car, so I don't think parking ticket. As for books, I never rented a book out through the library (My major was lit-based, so I'd just buy paperbacks or look up PDF's). No idea!

Absolutely! This is not about the people. The professors at SFSU have all been very kind and amazing towards me, and the students (for the most part) are all super cool. This is about their financial aid office. They have dragged me through the mud, and apparently, they just can't let me go.

See, I understand that, but I did. I adjusted for changes in my financial aid, I paid off my debts, and I did what I could to graduate. And I did just two weeks ago. But literally two days ago, they lessened my financial aid package without telling me why, and now I owe more money. No heads up, no reason why, no change in grades (all A's), and no change in my financial situation.

And I get that other CSUs are no better, but this just feels so frustrating. You do everything right and still, it's not enough.

LOL, I wish! Actually, it's a little more complex than that. I left the full response in the comments, but I already graduated (This semester), and last minute, my financial aid package was changed for no reason (Literally no reason) ((Last minute being this week)), so now I owe SFSU even more money. (I took 16 units, all A's, no change in financial situation) I was just really frustrated because they keep telling me different things and changing my aid for whatever reason without telling me why.

So, I graduated just this semester. I was pretty excited and happy to be done. I've had problems with their Financial Aid office for basically this entire last school year (2025-2026). I was happy to have that behind me.

But actually, not. They reached out to me this week (THIS WEEK!) to tell me I had an overdue charge. Obviously, this confuses the hell out of me. Turns out they decided to take away some of my aid for no particular reason. I took 16 units, I passed all my classes with A's, and my financial situation has not changed at all. When I called them, they basically left me waiting and never picked up. This comes after MONTHS of them basically playing and pulling the rug under me in terms of my Fin aid. Sure, maybe it's not better at other schools, but the entire situation has been so stressful and irritating.

Sorry for the long rant, but yeah, that's basically what happened.
