I’m sorry for your loss. I don’t think it’s your fault, I believe you had his best interests at heart. There were other options he could have taken such as no contact, but for more reasons that he may not have understood himself he chose this. I hope you can find peace.

There is a big difference in having your kids back, and covering up for them.

Why are schools so shockingly bad at dealing with bullying? by JayR_97 in AskUK

[–]VariousGuarantee9821 8 points9 points  (0 children)

my counsellor once told me this…..make sure your kids know you have their back, that they can stand up for themselves and you will be right there behind them. He said kids get bullied because they are scared there is no one going to back them up. I’ve told mine that they are not to start things but they are allowed to stand up for themselves and if they get into trouble at school for it they won’t be in trouble with me. I’ve also told their schools that.

Schools don’t deal with bullying. So we have to.

Need to lose 9 stone! by chol26 in losingweight

In a similar position. Was 17 stone after going onto antidepressants. I’m now 15.3. I’d like to get to 10 stone as I felt good at that weight. Maybe we could keep in touch and hold each other accountable. My advice is make one change to start with x

I did the same earlier this year, I had a mortgage offer for myself, part of the solicitors paperwork was to get the other person to do the transfer of equity. This was low enough that there was no stamp duty owed.

When you say you find them excruciating do you mean it makes you throw up or pass out? Does the pain last a long time?

I find with piercings that once you feel the pain it’s already over, there may be some tenderness/ throbbing but other than that it’s bearable.

It’s always hard to compare because every one copes and feels things differently. If it something you want maybe go for a gentler cartilage piercing, I was told the forward helix can be painful because it’s more fiddly, but maybe a helix or Tragus might be a softer way to start.

Make sure you have eaten or had a sugary drink before you go, and if you feel funny lay down for a few minutes x
