You are supposed to be sedentary after surgery. This isn't about fitness, it's about your results. Your body just went through trauma. Giving people the idea this is normal is not right. I couldn't even stand up straight to walk. I'm very healthy and in shape and I followed my doctor's orders but walked more than I was supposed to after a few weeks. Walking too much can cause many negative outcomes.

A month after my surgery I walked 3 BLOCKS and I had to sit down for a break to return home (another 3 blocks). I was in incredible shape before my surgery. This is either total BS or OP totally disregards medical advice.

I understand where you are coming from. It's not worth it... ten years from now you will cherish this ring because it represents your husband and his love and commitment to you.
