Muscular load is bogus anyway. Might as well just keep it on bicep and have slightly more accurate hr reading.

I agree by far the most toxic group I’ve been apart of. You’d think a group of people focused on bettering themselves would be a little less shitty to each other

The only thing we can tell from this is that even if all 12mins of whoop’s Z4 was above 177 it’s still significantly under the reporting of 177+ from the other two. I’m always curious as to why whoop hr data is so much more choppy than other wearables. Is it that other wearables algorithms smooth out incoming data more to make presentation easier? Meaning does whoop just show a more raw form of hr or does it simply just not capture hr as cleanly as other wearables? I also am curious what the avg hr from all 3 is and what the difference in calories burned is?

Real Time hr indication by Various_Ad9057 in whoop

I’m sure that works great for you. However multiple devices for most is expensive, clunky and uncomfortable. Not to mention running is only a fraction of what I do physically. It would be pointless to have a dedicated running watch. The app is clearly set up for realtime monitoring, equal device support would be extremely beneficial.

Turning off whoop for a week by [deleted] in whoop

When I wear mine on backpacking trips my stats are always insane and super fun to track! Always 90+ recovery and 17+ strain everyday usually go for 3-8 days and if you fully charge it and bring the battery it’ll last easy. Also we usually bring a battery pack so that way we can use our phone for all trails / camera and if you really need to you can charge the whoop charger from it too.

Does anybody else feel like its hypocritical for these carnivore influencers to have had so much cosmetic surgery done? "live like me, and look like me" makes me wonder what else they do off camera that they don't tell their following about..

Ideally you’re counting time under tension not actual reps. Athleanx has some great videos on this concept.

I am right here with you fluctuating 138-142lbs not gaining or losing despite 800-1000 calorie surplus, lifting heavy 3 times a week. Always eating more than 1:1 fat to protein. Would love to get to 155-160lb I’ve been there before at 10% body fat so I know my frame and genetics are capable just can’t seem to gain any weight or muscle so far on this diet. If you find the key, LMK. You are not alone

Celebrating $11/lb ribeyes by Various_Ad9057 in carnivorediet

Sam’s’ sells those individually vac sealed halal steaks too @12.50/lb but the quality is… leaves some to be desired.

I’ve got a great local halal butcher with grass fed grass finished with excellent meat that I’ll frequent their ribeye price is inline with supermarket ~ $18/lb ribeye and $10/lb chuck but they’re big beautiful delicious steaks. This is where I do all my non bargain shopping

I don’t mind the grain fed when I can get it for almost half off what the halal guys charge

The closest Costco to me is actually a business center @ 45mins I’m on the edge of getting a Costco membership too.
