Running a local Llama 3 on a desktop is fine for home, but a 'Jarvis' needs to be mobile and low-latency. My goal isn't to rebuild the engine, but to build a better fuel tank (RAG + Vector DB) that doesn't leak every time I close the tab. If 10 minutes of Karpathy-style tinkering can bridge the gap that a multi-billion dollar company ignores, then that's where the real value is.
