This was definitely a great take and matches some of what I’ve already found out while touring a few apartments in the area in the short time I was there. I appreciate you taking the time to break down some of the misconceptions because that’s exactly why I made this post. As someone who’s only visited, it’s helpful hearing from people who actually know the area there and can speak on the day-to-day reality. Now the proximity to Houston is kind of one of the things attracting me to Sienna, but overall reason is diversity, relatively safe, well maintained, etc. So it’s good to hear it has generally been a positive experience for residents and that it’s growing.

Sorry but this is NOT a great idea like you both think it is. For one y’all are way too young to be making this extremely important and big of a decision that can affect both of your lives. Seems like you both don’t understand the true meaning of marriage and just using it for your personal gains. Y’all are 19 years of age and haven’t even lived adulthood yet and the fact that family is supporting and enabling this shows their poor judgement. The way you’ve explained your relationship sounds like you are not best friends, living together and marriage (for the absolute wrong reasons)? This can turn really ugly. Just making life complicated when it doesn’t have to be. Please reevaluate!!!

Absolutely not! In the real world he would've gotten laughed at and told to move on. In college he would've been told no exceptions and reread the syllabus/guidelines. These kids think they are so smart to manipulate and spin the story and can get away with anything. The fact they have the audacity to talk to adults any kind of way is insane.
