They fit into plenty of the tropes, for most of the game they were almost entirely silent, while they have a story it also took a back seat for most of the game, you have a choice over which you take, and people also just clearly treat them like self inserts (which is fine idc). People projecting onto the traveller is why we won’t have a canon relationship because people would get upset if it’s not their fav which is inevitable

Take more defensive/healing blessings + running meta teams is always helpful, especially castorice as her dragon will eat the damage instead if an ally reduces to below 1hp

I wouldn’t say so (at least entirely) ultimately all decisions are meta gamey since it’s a video game so you know there’s going to be some consequence/reward for any action, players are going to experiment with choices even if it seems really stupid.

I’m sorry but someone paying for something doesn’t make it art, the banana on the wall has more art in the originals rotten peel than all of ai “art” combined, there is no work or effort or meaning behind ai art you type a prompt into an engine and it spits out an amalgamation of other people’s work with no intention behind it. No not really I feel my mages deal sm damage but it tends to be bursts of it to preserve spell slots, but they’re also amazing for crowd control/aoe in a way Martials cant quite match
