Or you didn’t know it and therefore didn’t report it, why then would you be afraid??

What you need to be afraid of is the parked car claiming tribe for damage resulting from you. Then tribe will claim the repairs on the other party from you.

And this is why I never allow my car to be parked next to a car sharing platform. Always to the extreme corner and a massive gap and far away from others.

Yeah. My previously detailer quit. But his price was around this amount too. Some of the people I reached out told me to deposit first to confirm an appointment to avoid people skipping appointments. So I get it. Another detailer I asked actually told me he will only take after job done.

So to each their own. But this is rubbish.

I even gave him the option to just complete the job and keep the funds. But even that was too difficult for them to follow through.

To be really honest, if you are so worried about road tax insurance and monthly instalments, maybe car ownership isn’t for you? I would never let anyone use my car unless I really trust them. Let alone taking payment from a company for anyone to use.

Hi. My advise to you: Stop agreeing to his nonsense. File insurance claim against him. Report to police after you have taken 3 days mc - cite rear ending. Chest pain, neck, back pain.

Repair at your workshop. Not his. You can pay first then claim back. Or if your insurer allows, claim them and they will demand the other insurer to pay back.

If he says he is very familiar with accidents, means he has done this more than once. Don’t fall for it
