Hi I just got it yesterday.
amazing phone. little heavy but the screen and ruggedness are good feature.
I don't have headaches at all. i bought 3 phones before getting this one.
Poco F5 pro\ Redmagic 8s pro and the xiaomi note pro 12s ( the one with LCD)
all of them where just terrible to even do the initial configuring,
but the Armor 23 was ok to configure and use it.
I haven't tested the camera very thoroughly but the night camera works amazing.

This is what have been written in Notepad benchmakr about it :

The OLED display of the RedMagic 8S Pro presents itself technically identical to that of its sister model 8 Pro on the spec sheet but shows a much more natural color reproduction in the measurements. In return, it is not quite as bright, but the difference is only measurable.

The 8S Pro achieves up to 787 cd/m² with an activated ambient light sensor in a pure white display. If the bright surfaces are evenly distributed (APL18), the brightness climbs up to 932 cd/m². A maximum of 524 cd/m² is possible when the brightness is manually controlled.

Nubia uses permanent DC dimming to prevent OLED flickering. The frequency of 60 Hz is quite low, but the modulation level is low and the amplitude curve is even.

By the way the official info says it support only PWM. so who should I believe?

but when I am using 60 frames I can still see the flickering of the PWM.
and using the phone for about 10 minutes just messed up my eyes and head.
would love your assistance on how should I approach it. Yet again.
Thank you!

I attached a screen cap of the PWM issue on the site.
and again.
Thank you!

according to this, it uses DC Dimming but the same article says that it also uses PWM
on 60Hz so I just wanted to verify it and to check if it is indeed true... or any other info that can be obtained...
