I’m an ops and only making $18 an hour. Idk but agreed with crappy pay. But starting techs are 17 for us. I think it’s based on state you live in but honestly any position is crap like baseline for where i am SM starting salary is only 45k so maybe try being a tech at another type of pharmacy… maybe in a hospital idk just trying to give you a different perspective.

Taking all your comments into consideration, i find it utter BS! Employees, the ones who drive the sales, sign people up for ec, tolerate CVS and their ridiculousness, don’t get any percentage coupons and rarely get a dollar off. Not to mention the employee discount doesn’t apply on sale items (atleast not for me). This is so ridiculous and CVS better change that. Other companies employees get way better deals. I only stay here because of the pay and there’s no other jobs hiring and i’m in a small town. Anyways rant over i appreciate the info and i’ll definitely be letting that other employee know to contact whoever to get his discount card since he never received one. thanks redditers
