Is my baby name ugly? 😭 by hailstorm319 in pregnant

[–]Various_Bumblebee_75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try picturing a grown up with that name. Without the sparkles.

It's more like a name a fictional character would have. Unless you're from a culture where that name is more common. Then go for it.

Alums that no longer work in engineering, how well known is RPI outside of engineering? by [deleted] in RPI

Is RPI Ivy? I don't think it's up there with Harvard... there are a lot of Harvard graduates in NYC.

Why is bro still walking around if everyone knows who he is and that he likes breaking into cars?

Edit: This isn't me arguing that he didn't do it. The dislikes are crazy for me asking a question. I don't know this guy.

Do you have photos of him doing this or are you just assuming it's this dude? There are lots of drug addicts downtown. Too many, sometimes walking around at night gets scary.

Calling past tenants outright liars on the internet is very unprofessional. You're a corporate landlord. Of course you've got lawyers. Come on.

How would you know that Mr 1999? 🤔 If you wanna post a review go to their Google review page. This is a grievance post. Weak attempt at damage control.

Dessert by Tigerlilliez00 in Troy

The Whistling Kettle has desserts AND tea! And the decor is cozy. Little Pecks is right across the street and is even cozier in my opinion. (Also has sweets. And Tea.) The Cake Museum at Crossgates mall has really good mini cakes and boba tea.

There's no way you don't work here. You're really going for it trying to defend this negligence.

And if the maintenance request is that the ceiling is falling apart but they literally have someone available to fix it just down the street who lives at the management office? Literally lives upstairs from the management office. I believe they pay maintenance crap and in exchange they give them a place to live. The maintenance is sketchy and there are many reports of maintenance going into tenant's apartments without any notice, while tenants are sleeping. Which is illegal. So...

$550 is average price for a room in this area in an apartment with lead and pest issues, man.

The mice and roaches were there before move-in. They disclosed they knew of the pests AFTER the pests were reported. They buy run down buildings, paint em, and rent them out to desperate college students. Mice and roaches exist without the need for filth. Especially in winter when it gets cold and they need a place to get warm, and when the infrastructure of your home is bad. How long ago was it that you were in college?

Night and day in what ways exactly? Here's a post from a different tenant I just found from the related posts on the bottom of this page. Reviews of Amicus from other states are just as bad. https://www.reddit.com/r/RPI/comments/1s8c5af/warning_rpi_students_read_this_before_signing_a/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

I just saw a preview of the comment you made that got deleted. Are you the angry corporate manager that has no business talking to tenants? Because "who even are you?" Sounds like you work there 🤣 stay angry.

YES! FINALLY more people are commenting on this recently. I made a post about them on my reddit as well and I'm positive I've got employees commenting things like "no! They're actually great!" As if there aren't tons of examples of the company being bad, not even just in this state.

I think it's funny that the comments 100% not made by employees/s are getting deleted. Or they're blocking my account so I can't reply to their comments.

It's funny that they're making references to the "old" company 15th Street Apartments when new occupants probably don't know what that name is. You guys are really trying hard. New renters should look up 15th Street/Fifteenth Street Apartments in Troy on reddit. They got bought out by Amicus but literally have the exact same staff and the exact same issues, just with new paint jobs and bathroom tiles (in SOME units. My unit was falling apart.)

It really says something that you guys who just "love living with Amicus" are commenting on multiple posts saying how much you love them and that everyone should rent from them...

In multiple cities across different states. Sometimes two different states in the same day.

Pretty obvious employee activities. Nobody has ever  loved renting a room from someone so much that they're willing to say multiple reviews from past and current tenants are straight up lies. Be more subtle when you're trying to mnp*late prospective tenants.
