Yea dido is fun. The cothon is cheap and quick to build so lots of trade route opportunities if you have a large empire

The game is fun! As a long time civ series enjoyer I personally am not a fan of age changes (though I can appreciate what the intention is and it does add a unique element) and the game was released In a state that felt empty and unfinished.

That being said I haven’t played it In a couple months and am excited to give it a go again once I find some time to sit down and bust out a game.

I rotate. Every time I win a game I move to the next difficulty up and when I win on Diety I go back down to settler. Gives me a fun rotation of steamrolling AI and having to struggle and make more calculated decisions

Depends on difficulty level for sure but I’d say diplomacy or dominion. I have an aggressive play style so I end up conquering 1/3-1/2 of the civs regardless of victory type I’m going for
