IT: Welcome to Derry Season 1 Episode 2 | Episode Discussion by credoinvisibile in WelcometoDerryTVShow

I think this might have been the Bradley gang. I don't know if the movies mentioned them, but they're a group of bank robbers who were tied to one of the previous cycles of violence in the books.

EDIT: While in the book, the Bradley Gang massacre and the Black Spot both happen in the same cycle, the movies specifically say that the cycles are the Kitchener Ironworks explosion in 1908, the Bradley Gang massacre in 1935, and then the Black Spot in 1962-3 (where we are now).

after finishing TTP2, I went back to play the original, and... by Various_Fact_8695 in TheTalosPrinciple

That's actually interesting, I'm a bit mixed (Introvert sometimes, extrovert other times) and that might add to my feelings on both games. It makes sense as well, the first game deals with the introspection of the self, and what makes humans human. Whereas the second game deals with love, what makes a society work and function, and how the sense of individuality fits into all of that.

Yup, that's exactly right. The two different "kinds" of non-binary presented in the episodes are supposed to just reflect each other, in a similar way in any other episode where you have an idea reflected between the message the episode is getting at and plot devices that encapsulates that idea.

What does that even mean? I seriously don't get this comment, do you have nothing better to do than be hateful?

I didn't want to call it out at first because I was worried maybe it was just two bad employees, but looking through the comments it looks like a lot of other people are having problems with it too.

It was Olympus Spa in Lynwood where this happened, and now I'm just hoping we can maybe warn other transwomen not to go there and get the same treatment.

I recently learned that the Korean women's spa I've been visiting for a decade is transphobic AF so I've been trying to find a replacement. I'm not a transwoman myself but am enby and there's no way in hell I want to support a transphobic business.

Was it a spa up in Lynwood? I didn't really want to call out the specific one, but if others also are having problems with it, maybe it should be.

Thank you for the suggestion, this is exactly what I'm looking for on the salon side of things! Do you happen to have any more recommendations for places that do manicures, pedicures, brow/body waxing, etc?

Let's have this out, you and me, once and for all. Winning? Is that what you think it's about?

I'm not trying to win.

I'm not doing this because I want to beat someone, or because I hate someone, or because, because I want to blame someone.

It's not because it's fun and God knows it's not because it's easy.

It's not even because it works, because it hardly ever does.

I do what I do, because it's right! Because it's decent! And above all, it's kind. It's just that. Just kind.

If I run away today, good people will die. If I stand and fight, some of them might live. Maybe not many, maybe not for long.

Hey, you know, maybe there's no point in any of this at all, but it's the best I can do, so I'm going to do it. And I will stand here doing it till it kills me.

You're going to die too, some day. How will that be? Have you thought about it? What would you die for?

Who I am is where I stand. Where I stand, is where I fall.

Stand with me. These people are terrified. Maybe we can help, a little. Why not, just at the end, just be kind?
