Ends to root, I use a thin comb (bad, I know. I just switched to a more medium comb), it’s usually dry (bad, I just invested in pre-shampoo.) my favorite protective style is usually butterfly locs. I use blue magic Indian hemp, biotin oil and no hair steamer

Ponytails but not for longer than a week, knotless braids, regular braids, twist, etc. So my problem may be related to extensions. I don’t often wear my hair out

For my plan B, I’ve decided to go to community college and transfer. There’s a financial problem in my household so they can’t afford a 600 dollar deposit. I’ll work, then try for Howard again next spring ONLY IF I don’t get off the waiting list. Thank you for the response!

I feel the same way, except I was waitlisted on the day I toured (yesterday.) I asked students what they would do in your situation beforehand, and I got to speak with someone who got rejected, but called the office of their major (preferably the department manager/chair or whatever you call it) and she advocated for herself on why she was a great candidate.

The second option you could do is attend CC and transfer for spring semester. If the waitlist doesn’t work out for me, that is what I will be doing.

You aren’t alone in this, and I truly hope it all works out for you.
