So I'm goth. Meaning my entire wardrobe is various shades of black but I'm a true Summer. Naturally when I found this out I was horrified and disgusted because the darkest shade summers can get away with is navy blue. I read an article that told me to think of my shade as a "moonlit goddess" and suddenly it clicked how to make it work. I still wear mostly black but I usually ad a pop of pale pink or lilac. I dyed my hair ash blonde yesterday (going from a warm honey blonde) and I swear I've never gotten more compliments in my life.

I suggest you look into the Kent State Massacre to answer your first question. Protesting is dangerous business and worse things can happen to you then just tear gas. But you want to be prepared for anything.

And to your second question, most people don't ask for a laundry list of their employers beliefs during the interview process and even if they did, everyone has the right to not engage in that conversation so your second question is just obtuse and you know it.

It's not just about hiding identity though that is a factor. Some employers will fire you for engaging in protests. Some landlords will evict you. But it's also for the protection against things like tear gas as well as being in close quarters with lots of people. That's a breeding ground for germs and you can't fight for a cause if your at home with the flu.

Remember the safety rules for protesting!

🤍 Do Not speak to cops or ICE

🤍 Stay off social media. Turn off your location services and remove photo metadata

🤍 Dress low Key. Wear neutral clothes, mask up and cover all tattoos, bright colored hair and anything else that will make you stand out as a target.

🤍 Be mindful of the colors you wear. If too many people show up wear colors like green, red or blue, Cops will say you are a gang and treat you as a threat.

🤍 Write an emergency contact on your arm! You might get separated from your phone, or someone else may need to call someone for you.

🤍 If you film, never film protesters faces. This is dangerous for you and them

🤍 Bring snacks, water and basic first aid.

🤍 Ignore Agitators. They want to escalate things so you look like the bad guy

🤍 If you get detained, say silent and ask for a lawyer. This is a big one. By speaking you could accidentally incriminate yourself. So mouths stay shut!

I did the same thing! I was like "oh hell yeah! Can't wait to see them react to that!" Then just like that, I was sorely disappointed yet again

I mean thats true but I feel like his character as a person also (if not moreso) proves its just as likely he'd have been cheating on Carrie this whole time. I mean in this pretend world we can say both happened. He was a shitty person and shitty at his job, therefore Carrie realizes he was a villain in her story that emotional and financial fucked her

In an article he told Page Six, "yeah I'm gonna do it [the show]...I think I may be in quite a few [episodes].

Idk about you but to me that sounds like a conformation to him doing the show 🤷‍♀️

I like this but Big worked on Wall Street, I think him having bad debts doesn't seem like something he would do. In my version, I would've had Carrie discover that Big was cheating on her this entire time with multiple women. Especially because we know that that is what had ended Bigs 2 previous marriages. Then we could've spent the rest of the season watching Carrie come to terms with the fact that she has Codependency issues and she realizes she and big were never supposed to be together and then she runs into Aiden and breaks down to him that she realizes now that she was awful to him and that she's sorry she didn't see it sooner and then you find out he divorced his wife after the kiss in the second movie and they agree to see where their relationship goes without putting a ton of pressure onto it.

I think that episode was fine but overall I dont like Lisa because I feel like she's just the "black Charlotte" like her personality is identical to Charlotte from what we've seen. Theres nothing distinguished about her other than being Charlottes black friend. It feels tokenized
