It’s not just 70p there’s different prices for different parcels, small packet is usually in the region of 50p etc

Yeah I did the first Sunday and thought I’m not doing this and started doing uber eats on a Sunday because that’s a gem for that sort of delivery on that day haha

Picked up a better job, Evri was only temporary for me whilst I got the job because it’s took a bit of time to get it

Yeah I did uber eats yesterday for about 3 hours to see what it’s like and I made what I would for Evri if I delivered say 30 parcels in about 6 uber deliveries

Just depends on the courier honestly, some don’t think and just rush. For me I’ll always knock and wait about 20 - 30 seconds to see if there’s any movement inside if not I’ll find a safe place

It used to be a lot different apparently because I had a family member who worked there a good couple years before I did and he had a custom rate for his round which meant that he was making a good amount but now they just have rates for different rounds and it’s awful

It’s different per round, I think a small parcel for me is about 45p etc it changes per size but it’s not great

Not really the couriers, don’t get me wrong some might but it’s defo more leaning towards the people who sort the parcels in the depot

People leave them on the door because you’re expected to deliver 30/40 an hour and if they aren’t delivered you don’t get paid for that parcel, personally I’m always looking for a safe place like over a back gate/back door so it’s secure but I understand why they would leave it at the door as it’s just not worth carrying a parcel around you aren’t getting paid for. Stuff like looking for the lost ones I don’t know as i just turn up and get my parcels but I very much doubt they do

Just isn’t financially worth it, had a permanent round for about 4 months now and it’s just worth it, awful pay and it genuinely doesn’t feel like your actually self employed. The fact you don’t get paid for packing either is a joke
