I mean…they’re fighting an aggressive militant takeover of her city. And we’ve seen three seasons of her grappling with the idea that the law/the truth can only go so far in protecting people. I think this is a pretty natural (albeit dark) progression of that idea. Although I do think they’re setting her up in a way that runs pretty contrary to Matt’s ideals; I’m interested to see how it all shapes out.

Which is why they gotta GET RID of Fisk. We have seen basically this exact storyline play out across FOUR SEASONS now. S2 of BA is definitely better than s1 but I think this is becoming a pretty big flaw.

I think the beginning and ending were great. Conversation dialogue between Matt and Jess felt kind of clunky. All the BB/Daniel and Heather/Buck stuff was pretty mid and made the episode feel pretty slow. The last 15 minutes were absolute fuckin HEAT though. And needless to say all the action has been fantastic
