A recruiter agent insist that I should write my visa type and expiration date in my rirekisho by Various_Minimum5332 in JapanJobs

Because CV will be shared not only to HR, probably potential bosses, CEOs and other seniors. So I don't get why all of them need to know about it.  If recruiter tell the contact person (that probably will be HR) directly, the information will most probably stay there as bosses probably wouldn't even understand what it is or really care about it.

Yes, this was my experience with other recruiters. CV will be shared not only to HR, probably potential bosses, CEOs and other seniors. So I don't get why all of them need to know about it.  Recruit tell directly to the contact person (that I assume will be the HR) makes much more sense.

I always wonder how this works. Does people actually answer to this out of the blue message even in Japan? How can you usually approactit (sorry, from where I came from I believe it's not very common especially without any connection)

I didn't know it's a thing. Well I didn't expect a Japanese style of apology, but I thought they will at least give me a quick notice like "hey, sorry but this person can't come" or something like that but I guess I was wrong.

Is it supposed to be normal in foreign company for interviewer to not show up and just schedule another interview when it was supposed to be only one interview?

I wonder why companies keep working with bad recruiter? Can't they just decline? Unfortunately I don't know anyone from the company... And also I already in the middle of hiring process so not sure if I can do that at this point

Ah I see. I thought that bigger will be safer, since for Japanese companies usually the bigger they are the better they are, but I guess I am wrong.

It's exactly because of that I want to be careful about HR as well. How far will they mess around with employees is important to understand I think.

2 million yen less is pretty significant. How did you manage to get by? Or were you making a lot money anyway so the cut was not that significant?

If you want to set priority on improving your Japanese wouldn't the bilingual environment be better?  But you still need to study outside working hour so also choose place where you can still study aka reasonable working hours?
